Art Exhibition: Dina Perlasca Ceramic Artist
Dina Perlasca is a Mexican American artist from the Paso del Norte Region, where she grew up on the border of Mexico and the U.S. She maintains an active studio practice at Bravo Studios in the Research Interdisciplinary Building at the University of Texas at El Paso.
Perlasca has worked in a variety of institutions and settings that have shaped her creative practice. During her undergraduate years, she was a ceramic sculpture instructor at the El Paso Museum of Art and later worked as an art consultant in the Gadsden District in Santa Teresa, New Mexico. She currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Instruction at the University of Texas at El Paso, where she teaches undergraduate ceramics and design.
