The Grant County Stage exists to provide one clear, reliable place for the public to find performing arts events across the county. Participation is simple: Submit your events once, and they will be shared across the network.

1. Submission Requirement

All events must be submitted through the official calendar system.

• Events not submitted will not be listed
• Events not listed will not be promoted

This ensures accuracy, fairness, and consistency.

2. Venue Responsibility

Each participating venue agrees to:

• Submit their own events
• Provide complete and accurate information
• Update or correct listings if details change

The network is a shared system. Each venue is responsible for its own content.

3. Required Event Information

Each submission must include:

• Event title
• Date and time
• Venue selection
• Short description
• Image (recommended)
• Ticket or information link (if applicable)

Incomplete submissions may not be published.

4. Content Standards

Events must be:

• Public-facing and open to attendance
• Related to performing arts or cultural programming
• Respectful and appropriate for a broad audience

The network reserves the right to decline submissions that do not meet these standards.

5. Review and Approval

• All submissions may be reviewed before publishing
• Minor edits may be made for clarity or formatting
• The goal is consistency, not control

6. Promotion Policy

Events listed on the calendar may be included in:

• Weekly “What’s On” updates
• Social media posts
• QR code promotions
• Shared marketing materials

Inclusion is based on submission, not preference.

7. No Guarantee of Promotion

Listing an event ensures visibility on the calendar. It does not guarantee individual promotion. The network promotes overall activity, weekly highlights, and balanced representation.

8. Timing Expectations

To ensure visibility:

• Events should be submitted at least 5–7 days in advance
• Late submissions may receive limited exposure

9. Branding and Independence

Participating venues:

• Retain full control of their programming
• Retain their own branding and identity

The network exists to connect, not replace.

10. Founding Venue Participation (Initial Group)

Founding venues agree to:

• Submit events consistently
• Participate in shared initiatives such as Stage Month
• Provide feedback to improve the system

They will be recognized as founding members of the Grant County Stage Network.

11. Shared Commitment

This system works when:

• Everyone participates
• Everyone contributes
• Everyone benefits
